Hi thanks! No cropping done, and yes I think it is very sharp at the corner. But, dark? The white in the flower should be pure white without losing details, when viewed on my screen a TFT IBM screen the picture is dark but near as is when photographed, this with details in the white area of the flower. Pls, reply on this because it is very important for me knowing how my photos appears on other monitors because I am currently scanning a lot of photos. Thanks. Best regards Johan
Your picture is simply great. You have made up my mind. My daughter will get for Christmas the F100 with the 24-85mm. Yeah! Have a great time JRP (Nikonian at the north-eastern Mexican desert) My profile Previous photographic journey, before Nikonians: A Brief Love Story
It's impossible to say. An LCD display builds contrast and is not very accurate compared to a CRT display. If the background is very dark in the original it could be very accurate and just looked dark to my eye. I modified the midpoint using photoshop levels as a comparision.
Note that shifting the midpoints won't ruin your highlight details, at least not with this modest change.
