Hi all,

I wanted a second DX body for quite a while (decided to skip D7100 toward D400, if any). But I Just got a d7000 kit with 18-140 on sale, mostly because I wanted to try new 18-140 lens. I Still did not touch the camera but tested the lens on my original d7000 - it's quite good. I'm not going to keep two D7000 though - i'll put one for sale, most likely the new one. as I believe by winter Olympics we should hear about D400. If not - than i'll think about D7100 as a second body. I'm Not sure what to do with the lens. Keep 18-140 and sell 18-200 VR II I have since March or keep 18-200 as I do not see a difference in IQ between two lenses on D7000 body? I'm confused...

Just to make things easier:
My LR catalog is slightly over 80,010 images that I keep for now. (I'm sure I can clean up at least 30% of the images).

Only 2187 of which were taken with 18-200 (since 2006, using original and VR II versions) and out of 2187 images only 280 images were taken above 140m (150mm, 170mm and 200mm FL's.). so it means I take pictures mostly in 18-140mm FL range, while using 18-200 lens.

I guess this is answering my question - it can work for me to keep just a 18-140.... Not sure if 18-140 THAT MUCH better than 18-200 though..

what would be your opinions on that?

Best regards,
Vlad
