I am sitting here with a 200-400VR1 version
The lens is sharp but heavy and mostly I don't do wildlife and hardly use the lens
I use it for surfing shots and air shows and for air shows tripod/monopod hinders shooting
Big question sell and pick up the 80-400VR2 and with the extra cash update from my 28-70 to the 24-70F2.8
I can't see using the 200-400 much as I have 6 years to retire
My decesion to sell would be easer if Nikon would make a new 400F4Vr2 for around $2500
Will I be happy

Thanks
Jefff
