I have a 80-200 AF-D ED lens. It seems that this lens focus is not spot on at 200mm at minimum distance. It appears to focus about 1 inch after this point that I focused on. I set the focus compensation in the D-600 at -20 and it is much better now at 200mm minimum distance. I may have over corrected a bit, but it still seems like a lot for a lens.

So, my question is:

1: Will this cause a problem at other focus lenghts with this lens? EG: 80mm near infinity?

2: Is this unusual for a lens to be this far out? I will set to -10 and check it again.
