D7000 Body
Tamron 10-24
Nikon 18-55vr
Nikon 55-300vr
Nikon 55-200 non-vr (on the chopping block)
Nikon 50mm f1.8

I shoot my active kids (mostly outdoors) so lighting isnt an issue
Outdoor portraits with kids (lighting not an issue)
I shoot landscapes (so speed and light generally not an issue)
I shoot some wildlife, Eagles in Northern WI etc so the reach helps
Occasionally I need reach AND low light performance for concerts in the school gym or sports in the gym etc. where the lighting absolutely becomes an issue. I was considering buying a current version Tamron 70-200 f2.8 (769.00 new) but I have heard it is inferior to the others Old Nikon, Sigma OS and New Tamron VC, not to mention, I question a need for this lens given what I shoot and already own. In addition, don't need to lug any more equipment around than is necessary.

Contemplated the following also:
Upgrading Tamron Wide Angle to Nikon (eventually for beeter optics)
Buying a Nikon 85mm f1.8 for reach and low light (on DX) 396.00 new through the end of March.
Finding something in the 24-70 range or keeping my 18-55
And, is there sizable advantage to upgrading my 55-300vr to a 70-300vr (refurbished by Nikon USA for 395.00 plus or minus)?

Just trying to make sense of what is best for the application without buying lenses only to realize they don't serve a need later.

I appreciate your input.
