Hi guys, as I am having a bit of a renaissance of using primes, I thought I would ask the following...

I have the 50mm f1.8 AFD and love it - seems to match my D2Xs really well; but saying that is the new 50mm f1.8 AF-S G better? Is it sharper, is the contrast better? Colour? Would it be worth changing from the old to the new?

I am also looking to get a medium tele prime in the near future - probably an 85mm of some sort. Is the new 85mm f1.8 AF-S G better than the older D version?

In passing, I have found the old 28mm f2.8 AFD to be razor sharp on the D2Xs oddly.

Thanks...
