I gave my son my 18-55mm VR for his semester abroad in the Netherlands (on a D5100) along with a 55-200mm f3.5-5.6 VR.

Giving him the D5100 was my excuse to buy a D7000. Next month I am traveling to the Netherlands and Belgium to see him and take a river cruise through the Netherlands and Belgium. What primary lens should I take for the trip?

I also plan on taking a Nikkor 35mm f1.8 (for nightime shooting), Nikkor 55-300mm f3.5-5.6 VR and a Tamron 10-24mm f3.5-4.5.

Should I get a
- Nikkor 18-55 mm f3.5-56 VR
- Nikkor 18-105mm VR
- Other Nikkor
- Sigma/Tamron/Tokina 16mm/18mm to 70/250 mm range VR?(OS,IS,etc.)

for my primary daytime walking around lens. I can spend up to about $400. But under $200 is better - the balance I can spend on wine and beer on the trip.

Your thoughts will be appreciated.
