AF Lens Choices for the N55 Film Body are Limited?
I have a chance to buy a used, N55 (USA model) 35mm body. It seems to have the mechanical connection (near the lens mount) on the body for focusing an AF lens. Should most any AF lens (with a Nikon mount) that has the mechanical connector be able to autofocus with this body? Or will my lens choices be somewhat limited due to the entry-level nature of this N55 model? (Thus, I do not plan to spend a lot of money buying lenses for this body.)
Thanks, in any case.

The N55 (known in some countries as the F55) has an in-camera AF motor, so it will autofocus with any "screwdriver" AF lens, but not with AF-S lenses.
