Good evening all.

The title is of course is to put smile on your face, but I do value feedbacks from our very experienced Brian and Brian.

Have a quick question to all. Today I was testing a used 17-55 at f/2.8 on my D7000 and I was not impressed at all - yes it's quite sharp, but expected much more in form of sharpness, something along performance of 70-200 at f/2.8, which blew me off when I used 70-200 for the first time.

I’m just trying to find an answer if my expectations were too high for 17-55 or I’ve got an “abused” copy of the lens.

Thanks for your feedback.

Best regards,
Vlad
