I just recieved my first treatment for NAS. My refurbished 17-35 Nikon F2.8 arrived by Fed X.
Oddly enough I found it on Ebay but it was from a regular electronics store in Spokane.
As far as I can tell there isnt so much as a scratch or a blemish on it and it came with caps hood and case. And best of all it has a US serial number. It even came with a nikon 90 day refurbished warranty.
The first snap I took just to see how it worked looks really good, Ill have to test some more tomorrow if the weather improves.
Thanks for everyone who posted information on acquiring lenses and how to pick what you want.
This will be interesting as Ive never had a really wide lens before. Dont have any idea how I'll use it but its put my creative juices into overdrive.
Congratulations on your new lens, Karen. I also have a used 17-35 f/2.8 and I love it. I'm sure you will find plenty of situations where the wider angle will suit you well. Have fun. It is an awesome lens.
Thanks a lot for your help and support. I know I havent been on this board long but you are all so welcoming friendly and helpful.
I love my new lens almost to the point Im afraid to take it out of the case however its been a bad weather week so nothing much lost. And not the kind of bad weather that makes interesting skys just drab.
Jim it was your final input that put me over the top you recomended this lens so highly. I will never regret for a minute the drained savings account and maxed out cc. Its only money (lol) and anyway Ill get another check next month.
Now how long will it take me to save up enough for the 80-200 F2.8?
