Hello fellow Nikonians,

I am new here on the forum and arrived here because I have a question that I could not find an answer to anywhere else.

Today I was shooting some jewelry pictures using my 105 mm micro lens. Distance to subject was approximately 2 ft.

With my camera on the tripod I changed the lens to my 18-200 lens and shot the same picture at 200 mm.

Now that I look back the pictures on my computer, the picture taken by the 105mm lens is actually larger....
Any ideas why this is??

I hope anyone can help me.

Thanks,
Rolf
