Hi all

I've jumped from point and shoot Sony Cybershot to the D7000 kit with the 18 - 105 lens. It's a huge leap up, BUT, I'm finding difficulty getting sharp images of my model trains.

The subjects are only a couple of inches long (50mm) and I've tried standing back and cropping, getting in close etc., but I can't get them sharp - and it's compounded when I upload the images to a forum.

Is a Macro lens what I need? If so - here's the big question - which one?

Regards
Max
