I have an itch for an 85mm F1.4. I am not a pro, and I admittedly have had very few reasons for this lens. If I have an 85mm F1.4, I would challenge myself to take different pictures. So, seeing that the D version is now 1/2 of the price of the G version, could someone provide any reasons for me to spend more on a G version than just the regular D version?

I have D200/D7K/D600 so screw driver lenses are fine. I rarely shoot manual focus so that is not a concern. I have stopped using flash since I now shoot at 6400 ISO if needed so G distance information is not needed.
