As I am reviewing lenses I notice a lot of technical data such as MTF. I think I understand how it relates to resolving power of the lens. For example the top of the line nikons often approach 4000 lines. How much can be resolved on the D600 or D800 sensors? Will I notice a difference between 3000 and 4000 lpm (not sure of the units)
Thanks in advance.
