1. Is there any way to retrieve the AF fine tuning information stored in the camera? I have 2 cameras and each of them has AF fine tuning information for 6 different lenses stored in the camera memory, but I can see the exact AF fine tuning settings only if I use a particular lens. Is there any way I could see it for all lenses without mounting them? 2. Will the AF fine tuning information stored in the camera be recorded if I save all my settings in a file? 3. Is the AF fine tuning information recorded in EXIF data of each image? If so, what software should I use to be able to retrieve this information from the EXIF data of my images?
Peter, The lens fine tuning values are unique to each camera body so even if you could transfer the values from one camera body to another, it is unlikely you will get the same results. Since you haven't completed the equipment section of your profile so we don't know what bodies you have, but keep in mind that saved settings can only be shared by the same body model.
The lens fine tune settings are stored in the "Set Up" section of the camera menu and set up data is not included in the Save/Load function so the values cannot not be saved/shared. Refer to your owners manual on what settings are saved.
Hope this helps...JL

I'm with you. "List Saved Values" suggests that you could view the fine tune values for each of your lenses, regardless which lens is mounted.
It doesn't. But the name suggests it does. I wonder if it's a software bug?
The only way that you can see lens specific AF fine tune data is to actually mount that lens, then go to the AF fine tune menu and see the value. On any Nikon camera I have used, I have not found any way to see that value while the lens is not mounted.
