I just acquired a used Af 105 micro f/2.8 (mint condition) with what I considered a really good deal. (I just had to trade my one year old nikkor 28-105 f/3.5-4.5D) The lens is not labelled D so I guess it is not but I never heard of nikkon making that lens non-D. (Have they?) Anyway even if it's not, it's still a pretty good deal if I consider that my old lens I traded for it wasn't in really good condition. Tell me if you think I got screwed!

I was wondering what would be the best option to achieve 2:1 reproduction? Extension tubes or teleconverter? What is sharper? What is cheaper? What is more usefull? (I have no extension tubes yet nor teleconverter so what the best option?)
