Is the autofocus speed on an AF-S lens different depending on the body it is on? Let's say a N80 vs a F100?

The reports state that the fastest focusing is on the fastest camera, the F5; the next one should be the F100, then the N80, the N90s, maybe the F4s and so on. However the differences may only be noticeable in the measuring instruments, if delicate.
One thing I can tell you, the F4s, snarled at as "slow AF" has lightning speed with a AF-S on, whether the 17-35mm or even the 80-200mm.
