With the F100, my all time most used lens is the 85mm f/1.8D, thanks to two fairly major portrait projects where I took 60-70% of the shots with that lens. Although it was my "go to" tourist lens, the 24-120mm loses out because I switched from the "D" to the VR1, thereby splitting the counts.
My most used manual focus lens on the F100 is the Tokina 90mm f/2.5 macro.

I only got my "new" F100 a couple of months ago, and started shooting with it last monday. Shoot a roll of TMAX 100 mostly with the 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5D, and also with the 35mm f/2D. looking forward to see the results.
Nikonians!!! My best investment made after my camera!!!
Like you, Larry, I used to use my 28-105 most of the time. I picked up a 28-200g as a do it all lens. After enough testing, its okay as a vacation lens, but if I really want the quality, I'm back to using the 28-105.
I heard a lot of great things about the current 24-120 f/4G VR lens and would like to add that to the stable, just can't afford it yet. (Other hobbies have taken my attention.)
I'd have to say that if my 50mm is not on this body, my 28-105 is. I just love that lens (and the only reason the 50 would be on this body is when the 28-105 is on my 700 digital body... I can't not use that lens!).
For some reason my 28-105 AF-D Nikkor is my go to lens on my F100 even thought I have newer and better lens the 28-105 seems just to work great on my F100. My second choice is my 50 f1.8D it is also a great lens on my F100.
I no longer have an F100 (still have my N90S) but when I had the F100 I had a 28-70 f/2.8 on it most of the time. Sold the 28-70 and now the 28-105 F/3.5-4.5 sits on my D700 most of the time. Kim Western burbs of Chicago
Until recently I was switching the 50/1.8D and 24-85/3.5-4.5G back and forth between the N75 and the F6. But I recently acquired an 85/1.4D and I've used nothing else for the last two rolls of HP5+. Time will tell how things settle out.
