F5 RGB metering and 18% grey metering!!
I was wonder how people could accomdate with F5 RGB metering and 18% grey metering (i.e F100, F80, F65....) if they use both cameras.
For my understanding, for some situations 18% grey metering need to apply exposure compensation +/-. So, does it mean F5 will be more accurate??
I'm thinking of switching my Canon system to Nikon. Currently, I'm using a EOS1n body with couple of lens from 16mm fisheye(russian) to 70-200mm L F2.8.
I plan to buy a F5 plus Nikkor 18-35mm D, Nikkor 24-85mm F2.8-4 D, Nikkor 80-200mm D 3rd version.
I know the 18-35 and 80-200 should be the top grade among nikkor-zoom. Just curious about 24-85 optical quality and sharpness.....
I do not mind about distortion!!
