Greetings All,

I have seen other F6's display "Nikon F6" on the rear LCD when the meter shuts off, but for the life of me can't get mine to do so. Mine simply reports ISO, Focus Points and Imprint placement - no matter what I have Custom Setting d6 or d7 set to. Mine has a serial number beginning with 0030... so in theory has the most current firmware upon leaving the factory. Anyone have any thoughts on how or why it may show up on some and not other F6's? I've tried a variety of settings including with and without the MB40 grip, different batteries (my standard is the EN-EL4a in the MB-40, but no dice.

Thanks all and happy Monday.

Kind regards,
