It seems my demon possessed F5 had a few issues. A B2 repair was performed and included RPL SHUTTER MECHANISM, RPL SQ BASE PLATE, RPL RUBBER GRIP, CHK COMMUNICATION, CHK SHUTTER RELEASE and CHK WINDING OPERATION, general check and clean.

My camera drove me crazy before I sent it off. It all started with E displaying in the film counter display part way through a roll with FEE displaying when this happened. It progressed to the camera locking up unexpectedly with ERR and a blinking light with and without film loaded.

Looks like the problem had something to due with the shutter. Does this mean I have a new shutter? $200.48 later I should have a brand new F5! BTW, I requested a frame count to get an idea how much film has gone through this body and Nikon did not provide the information.
