Nikon F4: screen type B or U?

I've always used the standard type B screen on my F4. I use it mostly with a TC-16A and a MF 300mm/2.8 (and the AF 180mm/2.8 as well). I've read that the type U screen is recommended for longer focal lengths. Do any of you have experiences with both screens, i.e. is the type U noticeably better with long lenses?
