My F6 usually has my 35-70mm f/2.8 AF lens attached. My typical kit is that lens with a 24mm f/2.8 AFD and 70-200mm f/2.8 AFS VR or a 105mm f/2.5 AIS manual focus lens.
If I want a better weight distribution (e.g. for all day carry the 35-70mm is sometimes awkward), my kit contains some selection from 24mm f/2.8 AFD, 35mm f/2 AFD and 50mm f/1.4 AFD and a 105mm f/2.5 AIS.
I've spent an afternoon with the F6 a 24-70mm f/2.8G AFS. That would be my target on the horizon for this camera.
Right now I'm "cheating" for macro, I use a Canon 250D close-up lens with one of my 52mm filter lenses, often the 105mm f/2.5 AIS.
If I'm in the situation where I'm taking only one lens and I need to travel as light as I can, then I like the 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G AFS Nikkor. This is like a film "kit" lens, a cousin to the famous 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 AFS DX DSLR lens. It's very fast and versatile on the F6.
It is still ISO, aperture and shutter speed, right?
