I agree with Rick. I do not believe there will be any new Film bodies introduced (then again, nobody expected the FM3a). Rumours are that production has ceased on the F6, but there are ample supplies currently.
I just think that if they want to spread the cost of the new Cam 3500 why not just put it in as many cameras as they can???
also I mentioned in another thread here that ...........I have noticed on dpreview over the last six to nine months that there are many threads now about film......... and its a digital site! Many of the contributors fiercely defend film even though they shoot digital. Also many are asking for advice about getting into film on that site ha ha ha !!!!!!!
I live in Canada and we have a shop here called Blacks Cameras. They have been around for probably 40 years ( they are owned by FUJI). In the spring I was talking to one of the managers about their prepaid slide film (which was a house brand label but always was Fuji, now the just sell the Fuji brand) and he said that his digital camera sales are booming like everywhere else. But he said our film sales are still very very strong and he did not see film sales dropping much thinking that film sales may have bottomed out.
