Hi Folks, I am a longtime Nikon user. Used to have an EM and then an FG which I don't have any more.

Most of the last 25 years while on trips I have used a Nikon L35AF as it is a small easy camera to use and provides very good photos.

The photos from the L35 while nice, are lacking the real quality of a true SLR.

I am thinking about getting an N75 which is small and light to bring on a trip to London, because they are quite inexpensive now, and I think they far outperform digital on the cost of camera to photo quality ratio.

I would like to shoot some night scenes however and that would probably require a tripod for a longer exposure in manual mode.

I can get an N75 with 28-80 lens for around $100-120 give or take.

Any thoughts from anyone on this.

Thanks, Ben
