Well, it's official. The F100 is taking over for my N80 which is going into retirement. She was a good camera, but for most occasions I prefer the F100.

However, I do plan for this to be a working retirement. I plan to send the N80 in for a face-lift--cleaning and getting that pesky Auto Focus problem dealt with. Then I will use the N80 for travel gigs when I'm off to visit family or am just taking a day trip in the car and want to pack light--I really like the N80 with the superzoom Tamron 28-300mm.

I would say that the N80 is a great introduction to the Nikon film bodies. I won't forget N80; but she's going on light duty.
