Flash Sync N80=1/125 F100=1/250

Thu 11-Jan-01 01:56 AM

Question: Given my studio lighting, if I connect the N80 to my flash sync cord using the adapter (As-15) my max flash sync is 1/125 per the camera spec.
If I connect the F100, my flash sync is 1/250 per the F100 spec.

Is that all there is to it? Whatever lights I use that use a sync cord to whatever camera - it will meet the max sync spec?
The camera and my flash automaticaly work at the camera's max speed? What is the sync cord REALLY communicating to the camera?
Curious....
