Tokina 80-400 af lens
Hi! I am considering purchasing this lens for use on my N80. It will be used primarily for travel and wildlife photography. Do you have any suggestions or comments about this lens? What about using tripod collar for it?

I you are talking about the Tokina AT-X 840-II 80-400 mm f/4.5-5.6, it already has a tripod collar.
Have a great time :-)

I expect that in travel photography there will also be many occasions wherein you'll find the need for a closer and brighter lens. Many activities are conducted in the late afternoon or early evening and you might want to capture those moments too. The people we travel with or meet are too often the primary source of interest or joy in the travel.
