I have been looking on the web at F sites and would like some info from any F users to the following question.

Q If i buy a Nikon F with plain prism do I meter from a normal hand held meter like Weston or Sekonic and then set apeture/ shutter to meter readings,I Know it sounds like a daft question but I would like to know.
Also wish I lived in the states looking at the Nikon F gear prices on e-bay.
Might sell my F5 to go manual! like the looks of the F, still keep my D1h.
ps any F users get in touch for a chat or if you have spare instruction manuals you could scan to me cheers Derbyam
