I just purchased an F3 (non HP)with new seals and mirror bumper for less than $130 including shipping on Ebay. I may from time to time have some questions regarding the camera. I know it's limitations, but since I rarely use a flash unit, they do seem minor. Heck, if I have to shoot flash, then I'll use the F5 or F100. I really bought the camera because it is very clean looking and is functioning. I should get it by week's end and will post some photos when they are processed.
Great looking camera and I see you have a proper lens on it also. The F3 was on of my real favorites. I found it to be a great travel camera when film was the only choice. Mine lived long into the digital era.
Are you doing your own Tri-X?
Lovely camera, enjoy.
Roger It's still, ISO, aperture and shutter-speed, right?
No, Roger, I don't do my own processing any more. There is a very good commercial lab locally that does it for me. After my late wife passed away, I moved from the house to an apartment, and have no space for the darkroom. In my time I did most of my own processing, both b/w and e-6. I did discover one thing wrong with the camera. The exposure lock button is missing, which isn't a big deal since I meter and then compose. I contacted the Nikon repair shop here, and they will check if they can find a replacement for me. Either way, I am really satisfied in how the camera seems to be working. I'll know more after the film is processed.

Thanks for the link. I appreciate it. I took the camera to the local Nikon repair shop today. Except for the missing piece, the camera is in excellent condition. They can fix it for me, but at a cost that is nearly twice what I paid. I recon I can live with it like it is, since I mostly shoot in manual and therefore, meter then compose.
This camera is just for fun and everyday photos. If I want to do more "challenging" shots, I can use the F4, F5, or F100. I'm not even concerned about flash with this one. If I need flash, I'll use the "potato masher" with a pc cord.
