I have never been shy to admit that my F2 is mostly a shelf-queen. I have to now say that I went and bought a F2 accessory that is completely pointless in the 21st century. Still, it looks good, so I will share an F2AS with MD-2, MB-1 and MF-1 250 exposure back.
Check Sover Wong. He has either new or recelled DN-1's. He also has an upgraded FRE for the DP-3 and DP-12 finders that he guarantees will last the lifetime of the camera. The other thing he has are brass gears for the MD-2/MD-3 motor drives. Haven't needed to order the brass gears yet, but that's because my F2 motor drives have all been early MD-2's or MD-1's, except for my original, which, if I'd kept it, would've received them.
That is the issue I'm working on now. 10 meters of film won't fit on normal reels of course. So either there are large reels out there that need to be found, or I have to find a lab that will run 10 meters in their machines and will return my MZ-1's to me. I do want to avoid cutting the film however.
I have some old bulk film to experiment with. It will be fun in any case.
As far as using it at a wedding, it's pretty unweilding. How spoiled we get with digial where 200+ RAW shots on a card is the norm, not the exception.
