After changing over to Canon I've now got to clear out all of my Nikon gear or face the wrath of the wife. So, here's what's for sale, and unless otherwise noted comes with original box and packaging, and in mint condition. and includes shipping within the US:
D300 w/ MB-D10, approx 18000 clicks $1300 (bought 11/24/07) (won't separate the MB-D10) Looks new without a nick on the units! 24-70 f2.8 $1300 (bought 04/12/08, mounted on camera about 3-4 times, and looks brand new!) 200-400 f4 $4300 (bought used 05/12/08, probably 2 years old, see post below for photos and detailed description) 18-200 VR $500 (bought 11/25/07)
This lens takes awesome photos, as anyone on the forum can attest. The following are the very minor cosmetic issues I want to bring up: the lens hood knob is scuffed and the hood itself has a couple of scuffs; lens body has a few chips in the paint (about 6 or so); bottom of the lens foot looks great, but there are a couple of rub spots, and on the lens side there is a paint chip about 1/4" long; the plastic clip that holds the lens cover in place broke, but if handled gingerly will stay in-place (see photo for more info); glass is in perfect shape with a few specks of dust internally that never show up in a shot.
Comes with the backpack case, lens hood, lens cover, strap, some round Nikon zippered item (in photo), and IIRC the manual.
Is the D300 still available? the $1300 price tag is with the MB-D10 correct? What about other accessories? Batteries? Charger? Do you have the EN-EL3 batteries for this unit or did you go for the big boy batteries? Please let me know. I would interested in talking with you more about the camera. Thanks.
