I have been lurking the forums for awhile, and I have learned a few things. I bought a D600 in November and use it exclusively with a Tamron 24-70 f2.8 VC lens. I noticed spots on my pictures after about 500 shots and it seems to be getting worse with more use. I have read others experience with this issue on the D600 forum.

Up until now, I have dealt with the problem in CS6 using the spot healing tool. Based on what I have read here, I decided to send my camera to Nikon to get the sensor cleaned and get the shutter replaced. I will be sans camera for awhile. I guess I can go back to my old Pentax K-x... nahhhh. I'll just wait.
