I have been using Nikon equipment since 1991, and have been taking photographs since before 1949. I retired early to have more time for photography. I have been to all seven continents with my cameras. I share photographs with senior citizens in both senior centers and through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (at the Univ. of MN) - I have presented a series of six shows (chosen by group votes) each year for eleven years.

This picture was taken in Kyoto, Japan at the Garden of Emptiness. I like the infrared effect and the fisheye distortion, which causes you to look into the garden.

I'm looking forward to the connections I can make and the infromation I can learn through Nikonians. Thanks for being here!
