Is there any advantage in using Nikon Capture NX2 over the Windows Live Photo Gallery that comes with Windows 7? While on a Holland America cruise to Hawaii, I attended daily classes aboard ship taught by a Windows representative. Windows Live Photo Gallery and Movie Maker are so easy to use and seem to give the user more creative options (like stitching photos into panoramas, etc.)

Keep in mind that I am new to digital processing and I have a lot to learn, even though I have been an avid Nikon F film shooter for 40 years. I just want a program that is easy and pleasurable to use for my vacation pictures. Thanks for your advice.
