I was using the Mac Aperture editing program, but took it off my computer and now use NX2.

One of the only things I liked about Aperture was its ability to clone one part of a picture into another part.

I am looking at a beautiful bird photo with another out of focus "blob" bird right next to it. I find the eraser brush tool will remove most of the "blob" but leaves a smudged look vs the blue sky I want. The smudge is not touching the good part of the photo, but needs to be removed before cropping.

Is there away to remove the "smudged bird" and replace it with the sky color as if it was never there??

Is there an "add on" app to do this?

Thanks for the help to a new NX2 user (I even studied 2 or 3 books before asking this),

Will R
