Doug, I believe the 18-200 is a DX lens so the D600 will default to its DX crop mode. The 5.6 is going to hamper your use of a TC as well. If you want that reach I'd go for a 70-200 2.8 with TC or a 70-300 VR. The f8 AF range on the D600 will also help.
