Apologies for commenting in two threads about the same issue, but Nikon it seems has not addressed the original issue as advertised and are still selling defective spotty units - mine arrived two days ago and it went straight back. I wonder if they are still distributing units with the original problem parts in hopes they happen to send one out that is not defective? Is this the logic they apply to their manufacturing and distribution processes? - If true this is beyond belief. Mine came from Singapore I think. I'll post some of my initial test shots in a couple of days once I upgrade my membership.
