Patrick,

Just tried it with my D200. I'm near-sighted and the -2 to +1 diopter adjustment wasn't quite enough. I notice, however, that the D600 has a -3 to +1 range so I'll give that a try in the store. That could be a workable solution, although it will take some getting used to not wearing my glasses.

I notice that there are also Diopter Adjustment Viewfinder Lenses available from Nikon to increase the range of adjustment, if necessary. I would guess these move the eye back from the viewfinder so may counter the advantage to removing the eyeglasses. Any experience with them?
