Stash, what does the thread title have to do with the body of the message? The quote and conclusion have nothing to do with each other.
The B&H notice was about "used" units they sell, which are not refurbs, mostly trade-ins so they would not know the history of the camera.
If you want a D600 get one from your local dealer and check it out in person. I advise the same for any camera model but in the case of the d600, there are very few, if any, reports of recent buys having the sensor dirt complaint.
Posting post after post on the same theme questioning the D600 and risk, real or imagined, does not solve your problem. Why even consider a camera that causes you so much distress? Get something you feel confident in and take pictures. Stan St Petersburg Russia
