Amazon has several FT-1 adapters in stock.

I agree with the Nikon V1/V2 approach. I have the V1 and its immediately my choice when I want something light. Take a look in the Nikon 1 Forum for lots of examples and discussion about what it can do.

Keep in mind that with the Nikon 1 sensor, you want to use caution about cropping and avoid heavy crops. You may need a little different sharpening routine. And above ISO 800, it gets noisy. But for low light, the electronic viewfinder is great. And for action, the high frame rate is a major positive.
