Lynn,
I purchased my V2 two lens kit from Robert's Camera and they have the FT-1 adapter in stock.

I would go with a one lens solution with the V2 and Nikkor 10-100mm f/4.0-5.6 VR lens. It is the non PD (Power Drive) lens and better suited for still photography.
