Posting a photo would help, as Joseph suggested, but if you have that many spots after only 300 shutter actuations, it sounds like more than just external dust. Some of the spots on my D600 sensor have been much darker than any of the usual dust spots on my previous Nikon camera sensors. Whether it is internal oil or other debris, I don't know. I returned a couple of D600s previously, but this time I am just doing wet swab cleanings myself and hoping it will get better over time.
