My repair shop uses something like that to clean lenses and camera bodies, as mirror boxes ! Once the dust is gone he goes for a wet clean.
Of course he dwells in a white lab (I've seen it) where everything is spotless, but does recommend the process (green-clean has some portable vacuum apparatus)!
