Forget the D600.
It is a good camera with excellent performance but you have such a fear of it, based on past posting history that you would probably always be leary of it possibly getting dust on the sensor.
The D7100 is an excellent camera also and one that you will probably give a fair chance to.
But, seriously, you loved the D300s, why not get another since they are so cheap right now? For your landscape work, high iso noise will not be a problem and you have 2 lenses for it now. A higher res camera would be held back by anything less than great lenses. The 50 is good if the G version and not so good wide open on the D version. Both are very good stopped down.
It is not cost effective to move to DX higher res for a limited time and then start a new lenses collection in a few months for FX. A used D700 would be really nice if you decide on FX so you do not have to change formats in a few months.
