Aha! No Brian, I did not think of that. I did gently opine that KR should be taken with more than a grain of salt, and that sometimes blindly setting menu items without knowing exactly why can lead to unexpected results.
Still, why wouldn't his diopter adjust to my (or his, or his son's) eye? His son has 20/20 vision, both my brother and I are a bit farsighted now (A.G.E. I suppose).
