I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve here. I note that you are a fairly new member and maybe you are trying to help. But you're not helping
I'm not prolific on Nikonians, I dip in and out in fits and starts, but I've been here a few years nevertheless.
What I can say is that I highly value my membership and consider it an investment.
During the years I've been here I've been afforded courtesy and detailed, considered advice. Folks here often go the extra mile to help and give up a lot of their time to do so.
I try to offer help where I can when it's something I have experience on too.
If you enjoy a more "confrontational" debate there are other websites that seem to cater for that market (in spades) .... The sense of community coupled with good old values of courtesy, respect and willingness to help others is exemplary, and something I've never found to such a high standard on bulletin board/forum communities before (of any genre).
If you hang out here long enough you'll see that certain members go the extra mile to help other on a daily basis. Stan is one of those, alongside many others.
I find it unfortunate that you are slating such helpful people
