Now I know you don't reside in US. However, the Nikon warranty policy should be pretty much the same worldwide. Here is the list of what does not cover. Just be careful on the item f. The qualifications of this forum's moderators are questionable. My profile should not be matter to them. What matter is the statement. These moderators should be more responsible for what they have claimed. To learn the cleaning process on a US$2000 brand new, still under warranty equipment is unthinkable.
