"RE: What's this on my sensor ??"
>The original post was a two-week-old new camera unless it is>not a US model. As per my profile I'm in Brighton, United Kingdom. My Nikon UK warranty does not mention sensor cleaning explicitly. My take is that dust is part and parcel of DLSR ownership and becomes more noticeable as resolutions increase. Dust is a non issue in my book.On the issue of oil I think it's unfortunate and my take is we shouldn't have to deal with this (I had the same with my d7000). I aslo think Nikon could do a better job on this issue. That said, I bought my D600 knowing about these issues as it was the camera I wanted. So I'm not going to make a fuss. I could:Insist the body is changed (but would that put me any further forward)orHave the dealer send it back to Nikon and be without for 1 to 3 weeksorLearn wet cleaning practices and deal with it - skills that will stand me in good stead in the long run.I chose the last option, it's more practical really
