The D600 will most likely not offer compatibility beyond Manual flash and Auto flash modes, both set on the speedlight. Like the D600 it will only have full compatibility with an iTTL speedlight.

My SB28 and D700 will work, but I have to set ISO, aperture and manually zoom the head. I was able to get some pretty good shots with this combo.
